Royal Wedding

We are always in the need of more volunteers to assist us, as follows:
1 - We wish to add some new blood to our committee, to fill vacant posts and help us plan for future walks and activities.
2 - We wish to recruit and train some new walk leaders as, with insufficient numbers of volunteers, we have been forced to reduce the number of both short and long walks. Training and support is available.

We try to cater for most walking abilities by offering regular weekly walking on Thursdays and Sundays. Walks are usually between seven and ten miles long with the occasional of eleven to fourteen miles. We also try to organise shorter half-day walks of a gentler pace twice a month on a Thursday of four to five miles, depending on the availability of a leader. Most of our walking is in Tendring and the surrounding areas which include the Dedham Vale (Constable Country) and Suffolk. Occasional walks also take place to the north and west of Colchester, as well as in Suffolk.

Dog Logo The only dogs permitted on walks are Registered Assistance Dogs, which must be in harness at all times.
