Most ramblers’ groups run numerous social events throughout the year many of which are open to non members of the “Ramblers’ Association”. Being a member does not mean that you have to walk. We have more non-walking members than walking members. Why not telephone one of the numbers on the contacts page and see what we have to offer. You could improve your fitness and your social life.

Visit Police H.Q. in Chelmsford Using own transport, a visit to the police museum which shows the history of policing from 1840 to the present day.
Dine by the Pool A buffet meal, wine and an optional swim in the heated swimming pool.
Deben Cruise Coach will pick-up from Tesco’s at Clacton & Colchester. The boat is booked for 11.00 a.m. and the cruise will last about 2 hours. Refreshments are available on the boat. In the afternoon you can either join a 5 mile walk or visit Woodbridge.
Barn Dance A Great Evening Held at The Great Bentley Village Hall from 7.30 p.m. To 11.30 p.m. £9. Including buffet (Bring your own drinks)
Brick Lane Theatre (Mother Goose) This show is not for Children. Must be booked as soon as possible.
